Get Your Cat Out of the House Challenge

Challenge starts July 2026

“My cat wants to sit in the house all day, right?”  Wrong!  Well…maybe.

Introducing the Get Your Cat Out of the House Challenge, where we help you determine the level of adventure your cat wants, and find fun things to do with your cat no matter what that level is – because even if your cat doesn’t want to go hiking, there are still fun things you can do with them!

Enrichment is fun, but it’s also important for your cat’s nervous system.  Cats need enrichment to satisfy their natural instincts and help prevent stress that can lead to behavioral issues.  Plus, it’s fun for you and your cat!

Rules for the challenge:

1.You get one point for each of the following:

a. Tag location you are visiting (if you have a homebody or go to a place that can’t be tagged, you can write in the caption that you are exploring the backyard or park for your point) Must include a picture of at least your cat, you don’t have to be in the picture, hahahaha!
b. Tag @latahcreekah
c. Tag @cat.doc.megan
d. Giving them a special treat (pupcup, churu, etc) while on your adventure, even if in the backyard. Treat must be in the picture with your cat.
e. You will get a bonus point if you go to the place Dr Megan is or go to a specific place she mentions since some are doing this from afar.

The cat parent with the most points, will win a Tavo stroller and carseat with a retail value of ~$600.
*If you are not local or unable to pick up the stroller, you will need to pay ~$75 for shipping as it is big and in 2 boxes.
