Perfect Puppy Socialization Workshop Feb 28th
Super fun workshop introducing the joys of puppy socialization.
What will you learn:
~The true meaning of socialization
~We will discuss how to make socialization a fun and positive experience
~How to continue to socialize at home
~How to help a fearful puppy navigate the world
~This is not a puppy play group. Puppies will be learning to work and be calm around other puppies.
This is open to all puppies from 8 weeks to 20 weeks. Puppies will be grouped by appropriate age and demeanor. There are spots for up to 8 puppies.

Kids Day March 21st

Kids’ Day is a free program for children ages 8 to 12.

9:00 am – 11:00 am

During the two-hour event, children are invited behind the scenes for an exclusive, hands-on experience of veterinary medicine and the inner workings of a real animal hospital.

Kids will get an opportunity to:

  • View parasites and mites under the microscope
  • View x-rays for broken bones or foreign objects
  • Learn about the importance of preventative care such as home dental care and the role the child can play
  • Assist the veterinarian with a routine physical exam on a live dog or cat
  • Learn how to properly get dressed in a gown, cap, and gloves for surgery
  • Learn how to suture a small wound

Reserve a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for 2+ hours of party fun!

The first 1.5 hours you will get to be a vet for the day. Click the kids day page to learn more about the fun packed in this 1.5 hours: Kid’s Page

That gives you 30-45 minutes for cake and ice cream!!

If you have a group of kids (daycare, boy scout, girl scout, school, etc) that would like to have a tour or set up a private kid’s day workshop, contact the clinic so we can get that set up! We would love to have you visit and teach kids how special the veterinary field is!
